Barrera Silicone Mould Release Agents



Mold Release Agent facilitates release of the molded rubber products from the mould by providing critical barrier between a molding surface and the substrate, allowing separation of the cured part from the mold.


Mould release agents are absolutely necessary as they avoid substrate being fused to the mould surface, simplifying cleaning of moulds and increasing production efficiency.


Pan Asias Barrera Silicone based release agents works best for rubber products. Depending upon the lubricity and release either Water-diluted or Semi-Permanent silicon mould release are offered.


Water diluted silicon lubricates the rubber so that it easily slides over the hot mould during loading and need to be applied for every cycle.


Silicon matrix is formed over the mould in Semi-permanent type. It acts as a release agent and need less frequent application which primarily depends upon the material being molded, intricacy of design and quality of the mould.
